I understand your feelings because we’ve already spent the majority of our tax refund in our heads and we haven’t even filed yet.  I was hoping to put at least a thousand towards the wedding, but it doesn’t look good because of stupid car problems, debt, a family vacation that I insist on happening, etc.  Hang in there, girl, life has a way of pleasantly surprising us sometimes!

Hugs! We are going to be spending quite a bit on bills too. Not fun. On the upside, you will have less debt and you will be able to save more monthly towards your wedding. I know it’s hard, but things will work out.

He is getting back about 5K for his refund and I am expecting some of that money to go toward my ring. I will be honestly disappointed if it doesn’t as he doesn’t have much credit card debt and has bought all of the electronicst. Ladies, I hope your guy surprises you all somehow.
