I would think that someone would be willing to talk to them without charging anything.  Kind of like interviewing a financial advisor before deciding to go with them.

Isn’t there also a deadline for forms for taxes?  That would probably be on a government website.

@Bazinga:  I mean your parents should set up an appointment for a direct second look at this issue.  It shouldn’t cost anything for someone to say, sure I should be able to get you approx. this much more, or no, there isn’t anything I could do if you switched from your current person to me.

They would probably have to pay for that advice then.  Maybe everyone receiving the money would be willing to split the fee?  I have no idea how much someone would charge for specific advice.

Maybe some US bees will have more advice.
