If it’s true she’s pretty much the worst person ever.

Ya this is a big story in Boston this week. The report I read said that her boyfriend didn’t rsvp until an hour before the wedding (via a text to the mother of the bride). She told them both not to come, and they showed up anyways. The moms reasoning was that it’s the bride’s day, and having the biggest pop star in the world at the moment in attendance would be distracting. I guess she wasnt even invited because invites went out months ago before they were even dating.

I think the boy is wrong in this sitatuation. It was his invite and he should have rsvped sooner.

I’m curious to hear the bride or groom’s take on what happened…because that doesn’t at all sound like something Taylor would do, stay after being told to leave. It just seems like such a random story.

And the details don’t really make sense either…like it says it’s the bride’s mother and she didn’t want attention taken away from her daughter…but the woman’s last name is Kennedy, so wouldn’t she be the groom’s mom? Since Kyle Kennedy was apparantely the one getting married? I don’t know, I found the whole thing to be confusing.

I’m in different on this. I wouldn’t be surprised if she wasn’t officially invited. I wouldn’t bother inviting my 18 year old cousin’s girlfriend. Well…unless she was Taylor Swift :D.

According to the article they asked the mother of the bride if she could come and the mom said no. So maybe the bride really didn’t care or was thrilled to see her there as Taylor’s rep stated. And another thing, they are Kennedys….I’m sure there were a few other “big name” people there …

I want to be appalled at her ignorance of etiquette and protocol here, but honestly I don’t expect much from someone who has no friggin’ clue how Romeo and Juliet ended.

Taylor and her bf, cousin of the bride texted the mom an hour before the reception and asked to come and the mom said No.

They came anyway, caused a big scene, the mom asked them to leave and Taylor just walked past her.

They left, then came back again, a second distracting entrance.

So rude.

It sounds to me like her boyfriend was invited and he never responded so they marked him as not coming.  He called the day before and ask to attend with his girlfriend who happens to be Taylor and he was told not to attend since he didn’t RSVP (and they didn’t want a celebrity upstaging the bride.)  He rudely decided to attend with his girlfriend and she probably had no idea that they were crashing until they got there.

Taylor’s response to the mother of the bride’s request that she leave was probably intense embarassment.  I would be highly embarassed if my boyfriend took me to a family member’s wedding and the MOB came up and asked me to leave.

Morale of the story?  When your boyfriend invites you to attend a wedding make sure that: 1) he was invited with a +1; and 2) he RSVP’d with a +1.

Everyone keeps saying they texted the mother about attending.  Taylor has no relationship with this family other than the boyfriend.  He would have been the one texting and he may have been too embarassed or upset to tell his girlfriend that they weren’t wanted at the wedding.  He’s 18 years old and a guy for goodness sakes.

Who thinks its okay to RSVP the day-of via text???  If she doesn’t want this kind of crap, she shouldn’t be dating a child.

@Artificial-Sweetener:  there was an option to click “no thanks”

I’m always surprised how many bees start slagging someone just because something has been mentioned online or on other media.

None of us knows if any of this is true.

@Wonderstruck:  Kyle Kennedy is the bride, and the bride’s mom’s name is Victoria Kennedy.  Liam Kerr is the groom’s name.

@Artificial-Sweetener:  You can click “No thanks” in that box that pops up and keep reading. Smile  At least that option was there when I read it.
