The Weekly Challenge is…
One minute of “Jump Rope” as done in the 30 Day Shred. I can’t find any video of this particular move, but just think of it as a jumping rope without the rope. Hold your hands at your side, like you would if you were holding the rope and them begin to bounce in sync with your arms moving. If anyone has a better explaination than that, let’s hear it! 🙂

Oops I totally forgot to weigh in last week! I’m still on the train, although it has stalled quite a bit recently… got in a good long run/walk yesterday.
I hate the jump rope exercise from 30 day shred. I must have weak calves or something (wouldn’t know it from how large they are though), because my calves start aching after 20 seconds of it!
Have a good week!

I went health food shopping yesterday and bought some of the new special K cracker chips… they are YUMMY!!!! and you get a decent number per serving. They make a nice snack with lunch

Morning Bees!
I decided to get up early this morning and workout with Fiance. We’ll see if I make it through the day without falling asleep at my desk! I’ve shed most of the birthday festivity weight and have planned out my meals for the rest of the week! Hoping for a loss on Friday!!! And I’m going to have Fiance to the Shred with me tonight, it should be interesting. We’ll see how tough he really is!

If you’re looking for a delicious and low cal lunch, try a cucumber and tomato sandwich with just a hint of miracle whip! It’s less than 200 calories for one sandwich, totally filling, and super tasty. I had it for dinner last night and lunch again today. I can’t get enough of the cucumbers!
Fiance and I went for a run last night and we are going on a long walk today. Trying to keep up the momentum of my almost 5 lb loss last week.

Fiance FINALLY has started weight watchers (i have been gently urging him in this direction for 2 months). I am really happy about this, and hopeful that it will push me to be more diligent in my journaling and making healthy choices. Bees, I’ve lost about 25 pounds which is great, but I am a little frustrated at how slow it is to come off at this point. I know its important to keep at it, but I am just wondering how other bees handled their plateaus . . .

@Gia: I hear you, I feel like I’ve done nothing but plateau. I know though that it’s been because I’m not making good choices when eating. I’ve got the workout part down. But it’s 80% what you put in your body.
I try to switch things up when I’m plateauing. Different food, different workout routine, etc. Like going to workout with Fiance this morning, and doing the shred tonight, I’m hoping that the daily double will kick start me a bit. I hear all the time that keeping the body confused will help from the plateau, so I just try to change things up.

Last weekend was a weekend filled with food. FH and I went to a wedding on Saturday where I of course needed to eat cake! Then Sunday was our wedding shower. It was a ton of fun but we definitly didn’t eat well. To add to all this, I am now sick so exercising isn’t really happening. FH and I are going to the gym tonight but I am not sure how much I can do. It is just a little cold but I am congested so I can’t breath very well. I won’t push myself too hard though. I just need some movement in this body! I am too close to the wedding to be sick! Ugh…

@Mrs.Mittens: 🙁 well, today is a NEW day! I have already done the shred, and an extra 15 minutes or random cardio in my living room. I will walk to the grocery store tonight (1 mile there and 1 mile back). and I meet with my PT tomorrow AM (had to cancell tuesday because I got a crown in the following evening and there was no way I could get up at 5am the next day).
