Hey bees. I drink tea and recently got the oddest tea flavor, well, ingredient, to date: Sassafras. I personally love the flavor (root beer-ish) for candy or soda or just to chew the root, but I’ve never had it in tea. I usually drink black teas with citrus-y flavors but I’ve been known to drink spicy teas and chai occasionally.
What are some of your favorite teas? What’s the most interesting tea you’ve ever had?
I put a poll because I love polls. 🙂

I drink unsweet black tea with lemon a lot, but I LOVE mint tea. Love love love.
Mint or peppermint.
But I also love mango, peach, lemon, blackberry, cinnamon-apple, chammomile…:)
The only tea I’ve tried so far that I really didn’t like was pomegranate, which surprised me because I really like the fruit! I love black, green, white, and oolong teas. 🙂

Red tea is my favourite, and next would be cinnamonny/nutmeggy/pumpkin/etc. but I drink them all.

My mum drinks English breakfast or chars tea (she’s a real tea drinker) mostly but also likes Darjeeling (drinks with milk of course). My brother drinks Earl Grey with milk. My dad drinks red-fruit/berries or peppermint. SO drinks anything (normally black tea) that’s going but destroys it with too much milk and sugar haha. SOs mum has so little milk you can barely tell she’s used any at all (she also makes her own blend from lots of different loose tea) I’m not a huge hot tea drinker but occassionally drink chamomile or peppermint, my favourite iced tea is lemon green tea. My other brother only drinks black coffee.

This thread has a Bubba Gump feel to it.
I like black teas mainly, myself

When I was in College back in the 1970s, Coffee & Tea Houses were all the rage… and I experimented with a lot of different types of tea back then. Although I found several I enjoyed… and a lot more I didn’t. Not much from those years ever stuck to any great extent.
My GO TO Tea is Orange Pekoe. I enjoy a good pot (or more) of Chinese Green Tea when I am out eating Asian Food. And if I’m relaxing on a Holiday, I may kick start my day with an English or Irish Breakfast Tea, and end with a cuppa Earl Grey.
Other than my Green Tea, or the occasional cup with honey (great when I am sick), I don’t drink my teas black… they are usually consumed with Milk added.
Guess you could say, my tea life is relatively uncomplicated (on that note… time to put the kettle on before I go to bed for the night)
EDIT TO ADD – Mr TTR calls me a Tea-Granny because I LOVE tea, and drink a lot of it. Many cups a day (minimum 4… often more like 6)

Actually, blueberry tea is my favourite, but I can’t exactly drink that all day long 🙂

Mighty Leaf’s Earl Grey with a little bit of creamer is my absolute favorite. After that, I love their Vanilla Bean black tea and their White Orchard which is a green tea.
