@cirk:  I am going to wear tea length but I never see any I love. I’ll probably have to get one custom made. sigh.

My dress is ballerina length. I hadn’t originally planned to purchase a shorter dress, but it feels whimsical, vintage and elegant. Very few people know what it looks like, so I’m excited for that moment when I give everyone a little surprise.

The designer is Blue Bridal, which is a small company based in Cardiff, Wales. The style is called Summer Rose.

I’ve posted my David’s Bridal dress before – but I’ll post it again!

Only have the model photo for now, must have left my brain at home when I went to try it on because I forgot to take a photo of it…

@sharkchomp:  I’ve had a crush on your dress for a few weeks now! Too bad nobody in my family was accepting of a tea length dress on my body type. Boooo.

I’m having my dress made by Gin and Sin on Etsy, out of London, England.  It’s a full circle retro style dress, and will have a black polka dot mesh overlay added, along with a black/red petti coat, red sash, and red heels.  I’m so excited to see it once it’s made!  We’re doing a fun Vegas wedding with just 14 guests decked out in swing dresses and bowling shirts.  🙂

@sheepandbear:  I had actually seen it in magazines before I saw it in person and didn’t particularly feel drawn to it. Then I went to this small shop and tried it on and it just felt right! I had a lot of people try to dissuade me from tea length but I stuck to my guns and now they’re oohhing and ahhhing too.
