Oh, I voted wrong, oopps.  Flats look great with a tea lenght.

I think heels look better, all other things being equal, and a tea-length dress is really going to show off your shoes, so it’s a great opportunity to show off a pair of kick ass heels. My BMs were in knee-length dresses with 3″ heels. I gave them all the SoleMates things you put on the heel to keep it from going into the grass. They don’t work perfectly, though, and if you want to avoid being taller than your Fiance then it sounds like your preference will be for flats or kitten heels. They could certainly look great if that’s how you’re more comfortable going.

I am having this exact same dilemma.  I have a tea length dress, but Fiance and I are practically the same height.  He actually told me I can’t wear heels and be taller than him… I agree.

I’ll probably end up with peep-toe kitten heels or pointy toe flats or something like that.  But I agree, it’s hard finding pictures for inspiration, they always show adorable heels with tea length dresses!

I think that those shoes are perfect, Miss Tattoo. Plus, kitten heels in grass is sometimes worse than stilettos!

I voted for Heels, the reason I didn’t get a Tea Length is because I have to wear flats and it looked weird.

I would go with kitten heels at minimum.

maybe you could find a cute pair of shoes with a really small wedge.  I have a tea length dress and my Fiance is only an inch or two taller than me (i’m 6′)… so I understand where you are coming from.  Some sort of lift definitely helps with posture and makes those calves look amazing with the shorter dress.

I like the ones you posted.

@Miss Tattoo: If these are just for your ceremony, I would definitely wear flats. They may not be as “cute” as everyone thinks, but they’re practical and it’s better than getting stuck in the grass. You can find some really cute flats, like the ones you already posted!
