I’m  not doing much either, thank goodness! This is the first summer I’ve not been in school in years (finished M.Ed. last summer) so I’m enjoying it! I did a little revision work yesterday on some assessments and will spend the summer meeting sporadically with my new partner teacher to plan our curriculum and prepping for my seniors. Other than that, I’m taking advantage to do absolutely NOTHING (except attend some weddings) and recharge. Next summer we’ll be TTC so I’m going to enjoy some epic laziness.

I’m helping with curriculum writing, so we get a stipend for that. I actually enjoy doing it, and its only for two weeks spread out throught the summer. I also am the color guard director for my school, so my last two weeks of summer will be tied up doing that. I get about 4 weeks off this summer, so I’m using every bit of it to get wedding details hashed out.

For the first time in 13 years (so as long as I’ve been teaching), I’m not working this summer. I’ve always taught summer school, most recently online which is SOOO much better, but this year I’m not. I”m having a baby instead 🙂 I am so looking forward to doing nothing (atleast until the baby comes)!
