- Wedding: October 2014 - Church
Photo credit to Troy St. Lewis.
Our wedding day was very stress free and happy. We were lucky and it was a beautiful, warm and sunny October day. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. Me and the bridal party got ready at my mom’s while Mister and the groomsmen got ready at his sister’s. I was very happy with how my hair and makeup turned out.
We made it on time to the Church and the ceremony only started about 3 minutes late.
I was expecting to cry but didn’t. Darling Husband cried, though!
Our Priest was funny and those that do not typically enjoy ceremonies told us that this was one of their favourites and it did not feel like the 40 minutes it was. After us, our immediate families and wedding party left to a park to have some photos taken. For privacy sake of our family members I am going to post a few of the favourites that are of us and the wedding party.
After photos we went to our reception venue and it was beautifully decorated. We ate and then danced the night away. The food was delicious and everyone was so full by the end of dinner that we did not really need the late night buffet. If there were any issues we did not know about it. The DJ was great. At one point my bustle broke and the wedding co-ordinator made a make-shift bustle for me, which was great!

laceydoilies: Congrats! Beautiful wedding! That church was gorgeous, and I just loved your table linens. Can I ask where you got those, by the way? I’m also using teal, and your linens are the exact thing that I’m looking for. Oh and your dress was to die for!

Justbrynne: I think that the shade was called “pool” but I’m not sure
chaibella: The venue had a deal with an event designer and they had samples of the linens we could choose at the venue, so I don’t know where they were sourced from.
