I am hoping that it was just the umbilical that flashed up. Maybe in the end you will end up being extra suprised!

@Happymommy2b:  I know you want to stay Team Green (that’s my future plan), but I would not want this “secret” killing you! Whether or not you were correct in seeing the gender, I would share what you saw with your Darling Husband. Just my 2 cents, though. You shouldn’t have to shoulder it alone! And in the end, you BOTH want a happy healthy baby…and you don’t have to tell anyone what you think the gender is. 🙂 good luck, and congrats!

It could be the umbilical cord my LO was thought to be a boy at first but it was just the UC

I wouldn’t be so sure just yet. For the longest time we thought my niece was a boy because we could never get a great view and it turns out her thumb was always in between her legs.(silly kid)
The US tech, Dr, friends, family, etc. were all convinced it was a boy after the first couple of viewings.

Now granted my niece is 11 now so I’m sure the technology is much better but still things could happen.

Hmm…I think you should still mention to your Darling Husband what you think you saw…afterall, you could be wrong.

I’m sorry you may have seen the gender of your baby… If I was in your situation I wouldn’t be able to keep it from my Darling Husband. I would personally tell my Darling Husband that I believe I saw the gender of our baby and give him the option of me telling him what I believe I saw or not. It could be a gift to your husband from you and your soon to be little one.

This exact same thing happened to me-we were team Green with our first baby and then I happened to look over at the wrong time during an US and I saw very clearly that it was a boy. No mistaking THAT.

It looks like that’s what you’re having too and I did tell my then-husband and he was SO happy. These things just happen but I think you should share it with him. And even though the surprise may be “ruined”, it will be okay.

P.S. I have TWO boys and I’m 99% sure that’s not an umbilical cord:)

I think you are being dishonest and wrong by not telling your Darling Husband that you accidently saw the gender. I think you need to own up to this and tell him. I would be very pissed off if my Darling Husband kept a secret like that from me.

u/s pictures are VERY deceiving….I wouldn’t be so sure it’s a boy…you can let Darling Husband know that you think you saw something, but you certainly don’t know for sure…I commend you for trying to be Team Green…I certainly don’t have that patience!

I love the “turtle” comment.  I like the suggestion of a PP that said tell Darling Husband that you may have accidently seen something and see if he wants to know.  He may surprise you and then you won’t have to keep that secret all to yourself.

Before you just blurt out to your Darling Husband that you saw the ‘goods’ and are fairly sure it’s a boy, I would tell him that you think you saw the gender on the scan and ask him if he wants to know.   I think it would be a bit mean to just tell him that you’re pretty sure you saw it was a boy without asking his thoughts first.  And like others said, you never know if what you saw was actually correct – you’d hate to go crazy buying boy stuff and then find out it’s a little girl!  🙂
