flower girl seems inappropriate. make her a junior bridesmaid — she’ll stand up with your bms and wear a similar (but more age appropriate — no strapless) dress. you can invite her to the all-ages events like showers.

If she wants to spread flowers, when she walks down the aisle, let her do it. I’m sure the results will be better than the average 5-year old; I’ve seen the videos. Anyone can fulfill the role of a flowerperson.
