So I was wondering if you are bleaching your teeth, what bleaching method you have found useful to get those teeth pearly white for the big day?
I like the Crest 3d Whitestrips Professional Effects. I have used them before and am not currently bleaching my teeth but am about to start. Just wanted to get some reviews and hear what others are using.

I’m going to do the Crest strips too. I got a quote from my dentist and it would cost $500, but the front desk lady said the whitening strips would work just as well.

@iheartsquishy: Yah to go to a dentist is super expensive. I think the strips are $39 or $49 and that works much better for me lol

I was a lucky dog and my dentist gave me free bleaching trays as a wedding gift…it was a major blessing, as I was too broke to even afford the Crest strips!

@peaches13: I’m jealous!!! That’s awesome of your dentist, especially because those things are not cheap at all!

I use the same Crest strips as well, been using them for years with great results. 🙂

How long does it take to see results with the white strips? Anyone know? I just started using them two days ago…

- Wedding: July 2012 - Baltimore Museum of Industry
I bought a tray & gel from Bling Dental Products via a groupon, and am really happy with it- I’ve done my top teeth twice so far. There’s a far amount of gel, so after the wedding I’ll be able to do touch ups in 6 months.

- Wedding: April 2012 - Padua Hills Theater
I used the crest 3D white strips about a week before the wedding and they worked great. I used one a day until the wedding

I used the nite white gel from the dentist, it is actually really cheap after you get the trays made. The bleach is $15 per syringe and you get 6 applications from each syringe. I had my trays made in 2004 and I still use them! I did about 12 applications so 2 syringes for the initial whitening and then after 3 or so months I do an application or two to keep them really white.

Sorry to thread jack, but the post reminded me of this and I just had to share:
If anybody has seen “My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding” (yes, I am fully aware that I should be ashamed of myself for watching) this chick brushes her teeth with bleach. Straight up BLEACH. The clip is of Joel McHale on The Soup making fun of her because I couldn’t find a direct clip from the show.

@doobie: WTF??? What part of her thinks that is safe? Crazy peoples.
I will use my strips 1 week from the wedding. It takes about 3 days before I notice a difference and 7 days for the full effect.

@MrsPom: I got Night Wite from my dentist as well, but I know it is also available online for people who already have trays.
