My Mom and Sister both grind their teeth at night and recently I noticed that the sealant on my back molars felt really jagged. That coupled with earaches and headaches led me to believe that I’ve probably started grinding my teeth now, too. The Aussie said he had never heard it, but last night he woke me up and told me I was making a clicking and grinding noise with my jaw.
I can’t make it in to the dentist for a while, does anyone know if there are non-dentist prescribed mouth guards I can get to protect my teeth until then?

There definitely are.
I have a dentist-prescribed mouthguard and one day a piece of it was almost broken off and I was scared to wear it to bed and swallow it or something. *rolls eyes* So I went to the phamacy and bought one of those ones that you heat on the stove and such…but it really didn’t help at all. For me…if I don’t wear my guard even during a nap I get brutal headaches…so maybe if your case is less severe then they would work better? Also, I do imagine it’s better than nothing. Maybe google them and see the reviews on the different kinds.
