@maryan86: Sounds like a job for your dentist. Teeth whitening is so worth it, though. Good luck!

I have the same problem with most whiteners. I do mine at the dentists but had to go back a few times to get the right formula with the least amount of peroxide. also, they have special gels you can put on before whitening for sensitive teeth! its;s worth the extra cash. Indeed you pay approx. $300 for the trays and initial whitening, but then after that, every touch up is $10 bucks!

Try sensodyne toothpaste before/ during/after you whiten. There is also a RX toothpaste called Prevident you can get from your dentist to help sensitivity. I agree with d-girl to go to your dentist and have trays made. My teeth are less sensitive with the trays then with the crest white strips.

If you do go the professional route – watch out! I got my teeth ZOOM whitened before the wedding, and I have to say – OUCH! It felt like I was biting into tin foil for 8 hours. 🙁

I saw some crest white strips for sensitive teeth the other day on Amazon.  Maybe try those?
