Try cut melon (honey dew or cantaloupe) that’s been refrigerated for several hours.  Best suggestion I got from a friend when we were in the teething stage.

Currently up with our 20 month old. Pretty sure we have upper canines coming in…I miss sleep.

My 18 month old has 16 teeth, I feel your pain girl! We use Tylenol if we have to but I’ve found baby Orajel to work wonders. We get the “natural” one with Elmo on it. Hope your LO is feeling better soon! I feel so bad for these babies.

Motrin lasts longer and works better than Tylenol. I also use Camillia teething drops which contain a big dose of chamomile and works great. I’ve also used chamomile to make popsicles or to dip a washcloth in and freeze for chewing. Getting those baby mesh food bags also works nicely for putting frozen veggies in. My son will carry it around and chew away while he’s playing.

raspberrymojito :  My 3 year old has never been bothered by teething except for maybe a little bit with the molars.  So they’re not all bothered by teething.  I never knew she was teething until they literally popped through.  The molars you can tell because you can feel them under the gums and they take longer to come through.  Chewing on things and drooling is developmental, they explore things by putting them in their mouths.  Not necessarily a symptom of teething.  But of course, they do like to chew on things while teething.  My second is a bit more sensitive to things so maybe it will bother him more.

We also had luck with the Camilia teething drops. Amber necklace was worn, but not sure if it helped.

Dear Daughter just cut her first two teeth! I thought she had a cold her symptoms were so bad. She was making grumpy old man faces, crying in a deep groaning voice, and needing to be rocked and nursed to sleep like a newborn. It was bad.

I suggest baby wearing in a carrier like the ergo or baby bjorn since the extra snuggles comforted Dear Daughter, baby Tylenol every four hours (DD tolerates the Little Remedies berry flavor better than Tylenol cherry or grape flavors), and refrigerated teething rings.

Good luck and remember all things pass! I think being zen and smiling a lot helps immensely.

Kay1126 :  16 teeth! Yikes!  I feel bad for you and babe!

My LO is almostt 16 months and I think is cutting his first molars (only 8 teeth so far).  He’s been such a grump during the day and we are alternating Tylenol and Motrin.  Thankfully it hasnt been waking him at night.  Might try baby oragel soon.

My friends use a combination of frozen clothes, large ish carrots and cold watermelon rinds. Maybe one of those will help you as well?
