I told my boss at 4 weeks ONLY because she’s like a mother to me. We literally talk about everything and she was at my wedding. I’m friends with her daughter too.

I voted No because it doesnt seem like you have that same relationship.  I told her because if something were to happen. i would most certainly want her shoulder to cry on because I don’t have a relationship with my mother.

Ps. Not that this is for everyone. But I had no apparent and “crippling” symptoms until 6 weeks. my MS is moderate. No throwing up and extreme food aversions to meat and poultry. Which sucks ass.  I’m 8 weeks now and I just started the exhaustion phase

For what it’s worth, I ran a week-long conference at 9 weeks as well. Long days, busy as all get out, absolutely exhausting, but doable. Be sure to stay hydrated and get off your feet when you can. Keep crackers, mixed nuts, and other little snacks with you. You can do it!!

I wouldn’t tell anyone at 3.5 weeks besides my husband and maybe even close fam & friends, especially since you had a MC..just in case soemthing were to go wrong again (God forbid) you wouldn’t want to expose yourself and then have to back pedal. I say tell your boss when you feel most comffortable 🙂

I personally had extreme morning sickness, had to miss a weeks a couple weeks from work due to it (even had to go to the ER twice in the very beginning b/c I was so sick to my stomach), starting showing early, and still didn’t tell my boss until I was 12 weeks along! I just didn’t think it was anyone’s business until I felt it was safe to have my news out there. I’m glad I waited, because as soon as I told my boss, my entire company knew within 45 minutes!
