BreezyBride24: We do not travel a ton, as DH is not a big fan of it (he likes to travel, but I am much more a travel lover).
Anyway… we started TTC last September. Our 1-year Anniversary was October, and we just went away for a long weekend to attend a Vikings Football game in Minneapolis.
In January, we went to Vegas with 2 other couples. I was fertile the week we were there, but no Vegas luck!
I got my BFP in March! I doubt we’ll go anyplace else in between now and December when I am due. Maybe a long weekend away somewhere close, but that is a far fetched idea.

MrsLeb: We enjoyed ourselves very much, and we did get a chance to see the fireworks. It was definitely an amzing trip–we got a lot of round covered and took time to reconnect and I would recommend that trip to anyone!
LittleMrsSunshine: Yess 2 weeks for vacation is really rough

! But that’s amazing that you have that flexibility, especially as a part time flight attendant, perhaps that will be my next career change. Oh how I wish we could vacation more often, but even if I did my DH like yours works lots of hours so I’d have to find girlfriend to travel with.
I’m glad to know I’m not the only one that finds traveling to be a great escape from the other troubles in life.
I’m convinced we all need to move to Australia as well, I’ll have to put that on my list of places to visit ASAP lol.
Mrs. Meowerson: Ughh don’t remind me about maternity leave…or lack there of.

801wife: Wow that cruise sounds amazing, that’s one of our goals this year–to go on a cruise. Was that your first one? How long was it…7 days?
I’m glad you both were able to squeeze in some time to focus on your relationship with some fun trips. Hopefully you’ll be plannigns ome family friendly trips sometime soon!
baileyjosephine: Oh nice, sounds like you have a pretty booked itenerary! Ohh please share pictures if you do get a chance to see the Northern Lights! Hopwfully you’ll get a chance to do some exploring during while you’re attending the conferences–traveling on the companies dime is ALWAYS a great option.
MissSemi: Both of those trips sound amazing and fall will be a perfect time for Grand Canyon. We definitely want to do that trip soon, but we’re going back and forth about whether or not we should drive or fly. Like you said planning can be very daunting when you’re not sure if you’ll be expecting or not, but like many other here, it doesn’t hurt to put a few things on the books so you have something else to look forward to.

Kacie209: Awwl congrats on the little one! It looks like your conception happened at a perfect time–right after Vegas so you could thoroughly enjoy yourself. A long weekend is always nice, even if it’s a staycation.I think that would be especially nice before baby comes–that’s if you’re feeling up to it.
Last year when we were talking about things we’d like to do before babies I said I definitely want a babymoon–so that’ll be a trip I’ll be looking forward to for sure.Originally I envisioned out of the country, but we’ll see when/if we cross that bridge.

I love travelling! And so does DH. So we travel quite often each year.
This year so far we have been to:
Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in January
Spain in March
And we have planned:
Spain in Aug/Sep
USA (visiting friends in DC and maybe Louisiana) in Oct/Nov.
