I fell in love with a dress at Alfred Angelo this weekend that comes with a bolero:
I am not in love with this particular bolero, and I can order the dress without it. But I was thinking I could have my Future Mother-In-Law modify the bolero to be cuter (she loves to sew, and is really good at it), but I’m not sure I’d love the bolero even if it was cuter.
I have adorable baby blue shoes already…Can I dye the bolero baby blue to match my shoes?
I’m not concerned about modesty or having my shoulders covered as we’re not having a church wedding. I really felt like the jacket took away from the dress when I tried it on.
Why did you chose to have a bolero?

I bought mine from MaryAndAngelika on Etsy. I wanted something to match my red shoes, and I remembered seeing their boleros in a blog posting somewhere. I loved it and I loved that it gave me two different looks for the day: bolero for first look/wedding party photos, veil & no bolero for ceremony and cocktail hour. The bolero was also great for when it started to rain and got a bit chilly during our dinner!

I’m totally getting the “poison orange” one from the same etsy seller!! I love her stuff, so pretty.

I just looked at etsy, and the seller has it in the same blue as my shoes…Swoon.
I love that bolero, ladies!
