Yup! We will have a light Star Wars touch to ours as we are both lifelong lovers of Star Wars. We will do the throne room theme song as our exit as well. A friend of mine made a Darth Vader puzzle as our guestbook and we will probably use symbols along with numbers instead of Star Wars names on each table. I thought about doing Star Wars macaroons on the dessert table. Not too sure what else we will do!

We did a bunch of stuff. We had the bridal party walk into Rey’s theme from the Force Awakens. I wanted to surprise him and walk down the aisle to Throne Room but he kept pushing that for the recessional, so we did that instead. Our officiant was a friend and was holding a Marvel book. At the end of the ceremony, he pulled out a light saber and said “may the force be with you”. My seven year old step daughter took it from him and our recessional pictures are her holding the light saber as we recessed. Legos are big with us, so we had a lego card box that my Darling Husband and his daughters made and we used legos for our centerpieces. We had the two light sabers and two storm trooper masks for the photo booth, but my step daughters and their cousin ran around with them all night. It was perfect.

We had a Necronomicon guestbook.

About 9 months before we got married was DHs birthday party. We had just signed our venue so now we had an offiical wedding date and people were asking about the wedding. Darling Husband – without ever mentioning it to me – announces that we are having a James Bond theme wedding. Wait… What? So I immediately start to wonder how am I going to pull off a James Bond wedding?
Solutions: Bond theme tables, Bond cocktails (the Skyfall, and From Russia with Love, and of course the Vesper Martini), and we played every Bond song for coctail hour. I tossed in some Bond paraphernalia for photos and you got yourself a theme wedding! I was pretty pleased with myself. Darling Husband and his movie-buff friends had a blast.

- Wedding: April 2017 - City, State
we’re incorporating Minecraft. Actually our story is similar to lilacjedibride :
A friend of mine introduced me to Minecraft and we played all the time. Then he joined up with a bunch of guys on a private server and invited me to join them. My Fiance was one of the guys on the sever.
Our wedding will be the first time everyone on the sever will be meeting each other in person and we’re all pretty excited. Everyone’s bringing their laptops and we’re planning a gaming session the night before the wedding!

We have a few touches, but wanted our amazing venue to be the focus. We are (like so many!) walking out to the Throne Room theme, FH’s cufflinks are Imperial symbols, and our photobooth lady is bringing Star Wars props for us. 🙂 We’re going to have little trinkets and things on the cake table of stuff that is important to us, like a Tardis, Disney stuff for me, comic book stuff for him, etc. We also love LoTR, so I got a plaque with an Arwen quote on it for his wedding day gift, and this is his groom’s cake:

We are having a fantasy theme. His party is all dressed as pirates…complete with swords as groomsmen gifts. My bridal party are all dressing as fae… Part of their gifts are jeweled elf ears. We are doing a handfasting ceremony. At the end of the ceremony I am giving him Arwin’s necklace and he is giving me Rumpelstiltskin’s dagger. There will be fairie rings and elven music. It will also have elements of a renessaince fair…with games and prizes.
