I also have an ice blue sapphire, but not exactuly sure of the specs on it! I always knew I wanted a sapphire, but actually they are pretty popular among my friend group and I’m in the US. Out of 8 of us 4 have sapphires – all different colors! And the rest have diamonds!

9x7mm (2 carat equivalent) peach sapphire set in rose gold with diamond halo. The colour changes constantly. It tends to photograph pinker, but in real life looks peachier.

lovelyruby :  Can I please ask the mm of your ring if you know it. I’m trying to get an idea of how big to go from yours. I am looking at buying a Chatham ruby from Africa Gems and do not see 0.75 rounds. I see 5mm which is equal to 0.67ct and 5.5mm which is equal to 0.95. Ruby is my birthstone, and I am glad to have seen your ring!

genevapride :  Hmm, I am actually not sure! Sorry!! I was able to find a local store that worked with Chatham, and so when I ordered the ring I simply asked them to get me a .75 equivalent. I want to say that it is 5mm.

Maybe you could call Chatham and ask them? Good luck!

lovelyruby :  Ahh ok, thank you so much for replying. I hope mine will turn out as brilliantly blood red as yours!

genevapride :  Aw thanks, I’m sure it will!! Assuming that all lab stones are essentially clones.
