My wedding band is on order (platinum and French cut eternity band from Single Stone, squeeee) and we’re on the hunt for DF’s band. He’s not looking for anything fancy, but we’ve decided that it would be nice to have matching metals.
We’re considering the classic 3mm domed band from Tiffany but I hate to pay so much extra for the name. Where did you get your groom’s band? And pictures are always fun…

@lilcafe: My wedding band was easy-peasy to find and only $575 (score!). My fiancee struggled to find something he liked. We looked at all the big jewlers but he wanted something more “unique”. I got him a nice watch for his birthday and he went to a local jewler to get it resized. After he came home, he told me he had found his ring. We went back to the jeweler and custom ordered it. While we are still waiting for the final product, this is a general idea of what it should look like:
It doesn’t match mine in anyways but I think it is perfect for him! I am so glad he was able to pick out something that he liked and was unique.

Our’s do not match at all..and he ordered his from overstock.com. He’s happy with it, and I’m happy with mine.

My wedding band is an Art Carved white gold band, his is a two-tone 6mm gold band. I wouldn’t say that our bands “match” necessarily, but I think they compliment eachother and we both love them. I love his band… we’re getting married in July, so the rings are hidden away in our safe for now, but I open up the safe and give it a little stroke every now and then…. HA!

We’re buying the same band in different widths (2mm for me, 3mm for him). It’s platinum, from David Yurman. Here it is!

Darling Husband picked out a tunston ring from the jeweler. Then when I saw a thread on WB about “free” rings from JVL for $25 “shipping,” I suggested he get one to wear on our honeymoon so he wouldn’t risk losing his ring. He did, and he likes his JVL ring so much that that’s the one he wears every day. I wish we knew about the JVL deal before we bought the ring from the jeweler. It’s a brushed silver colored metal, but the edges are shiny.
