Well, we aren’t married yet but here are our plans:

It’ll be a simple honeymoon at an all inclusive resort 2 hours away (so we can drive there…)  We’ll do a few activities that are included with the resort like tennis, some water sports and pool aerobics, etc. Maybe a dance class. But not much. We’re on a limited budget and even though we’d love to go canopying, we’ll just have to wait and see if we can fit that in.  That is about it.  We plan to just enjoy our alone time together (we have 3 kids), eat and drink.  Oh we’ll enjoy some nightlife the resort has to offer, like the dance club and live shows.

We just started the process of planning the honeymoon, but we’ve decided that we definitely want to go to St. John.  It’s going to be so awesome! 🙂

We stayed at the Sandals Resort in St. Lucia. We loved it! The food was great and the service was awesome, we mostly just hung out on the beach, we didn’t really leave the resort but there wasn’t much of a need to. We were there for 5 days and never got bored there.

P.s. war eagle!

We spent 10 day at the Westin on St John just doing nothing but beach and a Virgin Gorda tour.  For me, it was much too long to spend on an island lounging around a beach, 5-7 days would have been plenty for me.  It was beautiful for sure, but I’m just not a beach person.

We’re doing 5 nights in Tokyo (including New Years Eve) then 4 in Hong Kong. We need to start language lessons!

We’ll definitely take a high-speed train to Osaka, go on a saki brewery tour and see a kibuki theatre show in Tokyo, and we’ll do the ferry from Hong Kong to Macau for a night to hit the casinos.

@fishbone:  Cool! You should definitely do a recap.

OP, tell us a little bit about you and Fiance and the sorts of things you like to do!

We’re doing 15 days in Africa – safari in South Africa and Tanzania then beach in Zanzibar.

We are spending the week before our wedding in Florida and then a week at Sandals Antigua. We plan to relax on the beach and maybe take a few tours.

@KatNYC2011:  You should do a Zanzibar recap as well! I’m super interested in that one too. Loved all your recaps By The Way.

We “mini-mooned” for 5 days at this inn after our wedding: http://www.chebeagueislandinn.com/

Portland is about a 5-hr drive from where we live.  We wanted to do something low key, plus we took off the week before the wedding too so we didn’t have lots of extra vacation time.

But, we are leaving in 2 months for our delayed honeymoon.  We’re going on safari for 7 nights in Zimbabwe including a 3-day canoe trip down the Zambezi River.  Then we are stopping by Victoria Falls for a night before heading to Cape Town for 5 days.  This is my dream vacation, and I can’t wait!

We went to Vegas and stayed at the Vdara. It is a non-gaming, non-smoking hotel so it was relaxing to come back to, the room had a soak tub that we sat in together and looked down at all the lights.

We saw a couple shows. I really enjoyed the Blue Man Group. We also drove around off the strip to see what else there was to Vegas. We gambled alittle bit and ate at some great places. At the end of the day, we either went back to our room or lounged around at the pool with a bucket of beers.
