Just the basics (do the poll!) and then show me a pic, and tell me where you live (in general). I’m basically breaking down the demographic of what is popular in what area. Because I’m a nerd.
ETA: I’m in Texas, and I have a (shiny, new!) three stone ring (after changing from a solitaire.)

Mine’s a solitaire with channel-set sidestones!

My rings are .40 tcw, I think the center stone of e-ring is .25 (I’m not sure though!) Engagement Ring has 6 side stones in a beautiful design, and wedding band has 5 in the same design. Together they make me think of a tiara 🙂
I can’t get any good pictures.
Oh and I live in western Canada.

Northeast (NJ) Center stone is an 3 ct Old Mine Cut, heirloom ring from FI’s grandmother. Reset with channel set side stones (very small). Will post photo after the wedding!

- Wedding: June 2014 - British Columbia
Canadian diamonds mined from NWT. Albertan bride who fancies small/dainty diamonds. 0.53 ctw; this was a stock ring. Centre is .27 ct.
ETA: I don’t think these are popular in the city I live in. I tend to see a lot more bling on other engaged ladies; solitaire or emerald cuts or halo. However, Fiance and I were poor when we were ring shopping almost 3 years ago. I still kinda prefer FI’s heirloom ring from his grandma’s grandmother; simple silver ring with a small precious stone.
