Gray spinel with diamond halo. My center stone was originally a moissanite and I just got it switched out. I love it!

My ering is a 0.7 ct Canadian diamond, I colour, and I can’t for the life of me remember the clarity… I *think* VS2. The setting is platinum and I’m a size 4, for reference. I did not choose my ering – my husband knew I wanted a plain round solitaire from Birks. It has 5 prongs which makes it pretty unique. He spent between $7-8k.

I chose my wedding band myself! Round and baguette Canadian diamonds set in platinum – 0.3 tcw. The band was just over $3k. It’s not what I imagined I would end up with, but I love how it contrasts the band of my ering!

2.5 carat emerald cut diamond on a size 8 finger. F color, vvs2 clarity. It’s exactly what I wanted. I was surprised because I thought we’d go shopping together, but he worked with a friend and knocked it out of the park. I think about $35-37k.

veganeh :  Thank you! I truly have no idea! My original thought is a plain gold band because that screams “married” to me. I’ll have a gap due to the basket so I’m not sure a stack would be the right move. My other thought is a seven stone anniversary type band to get a mix of round and emerald cut on my finger.

My ring was custom πŸ™‚ It has an 8mm Forever Brilliant center stone on a diamond bypass setting with ruby sidestones. My wedding band (which I will get in 15 days!!!) is a custom-fitted band with alternating rubies and black diamonds. My Fiance loves red and black, so we decided to have all of our rings (including his) custom made to reflect his preferences. I like that we have a bit of me (large, sparkly, white gold) and a bit of him (rubies and black diamonds) to represent our union. I also like that the theme is carried across my rings and his!

He spent: $1750 on my engagement ring and $750 on my wedding band. So, $2,500 for my custom set πŸ™‚

I spent: $2,100 on his custom men’s band πŸ™‚

Mine is a lab diamond from Brilliant Earth! The setting is the “Gramercy” in Rose Gold.

The center stone is 1.63 carats, J color, XXX, VS1. I think it faces up closer to a 1.5 carat IMO. My ring size is between a 5.25-5.5- the ring is a 5.5.

The side stones are ~.14-.18 and between them and the band there’s another .75 carats. It is 3/4 eternity!

The setting cost $2,550 I think and the center stone was maybe $3600? Total was a little over $6,500 with tax and all that.

I couldn’t be more in love with it!!! I get some many compliments and genuine reactions to how lovely it is. It’s the most perfect ring I’ve ever seen.

Ring5

1.64 ct diamond from Brian Gavin, AGS 000, I color, IF clarity. Fiance and I picked the setting together, but the center stone was his choice and he did not disappoint. I think he paid around $15K.
