Excuse the red reflection from the opposite wall! my ring is exactly what I’ve always wanted. It’s by Heidi Gibson. It’s her 15mm Cambria design. We thought about going 17mm, but I’m so happy we went with the 15, I think 17 would’ve been too much finger coverage for me. The center is .62 I VS2 GIA triple x and AGS000. Its total carat weight is 1.4. I wear a size 6. We paid a little over 6k.

My ring is Brilliant Earth. The engagement ring is 18K white gold with a 1.0 carat round lab grown diamond. J color, VVS2 clarity, ideal cut. It’s also GIA certified. The wedding band was included, it’s 18K white gold 1/4 cttw.

Both rings were $1,600. I found the listing on eBay by chance at work one day and texted my boyfriend immediately to buy it haha. This is our third ring (first was Clean Origin and $5,000- too much money for my liking, second was MoissaniteCo and didn’t love it), so it’s been a process. I know this is my ring. I love it because it’s beautiful and an amazing deal. We had it inspected and the appraisal matches it to a tee!

Any excuse to talk about my rings, I will gladly take!  I love them.  My e-ring is a 1.4 carat lab diamond, I color, XXX, VS1.  Fiance picked it out himself!  We never went to go look at rings together and I never tried any on, but I had told all my hard preferences to my best friend (metal color, stone shapes, etc) so she worked with my fiance to find something great.  It was actually really nice not having the stress of making the ring decision myself, and I love that it’s really a gift from him.

Although I did sort of guess which ring he was going to get me, lol.  He accidentally let it slip that the designer was Noam Carver a few weeks before he proposed.  So naturally I scoured NC’s website and through the power of deduction and knowing what his style and preferences probably were, I narrowed it down to the 2 most likely rings he would buy.  Turns out I was right, and my ring was one of those two, haha.

My wedding band is from an Etsy store and I’m madly in love with it.  I love flowers and gardening, and this band just felt like it was my style to a tee.  I also knew I didn’t really want stones in my band, but I didn’t want just a plain metal one so it was even more perfect.

Crazy obsessed with my ring. I did help pick exactly what I wanted, just because I wanted FH to be able to get the best possible deal and I knew he wouldnt know where to begin.

Its a 1.23 center, VS1, excellent cut, L color (i love the warmth with the yellow gold), 14K gold, with 0.91 carats around the ring. Cost FH $4000. Size 4.75.

Mine is a 2.7 Asscher cut, F color, VS2 clarity, approximately $34k, it was a surprise although I did tell my fiancé I loved Asscher cuts and wanted something simple, he nailed it!!

My ring is from brilliant earth and it’s exactly what I wanted. I actually picked it out, while I’m sure he would’ve been great at picking it out by himself I’ve always had the mentality that if I’m gonna wear it for the rest of my life I wanted it to be something I 100% was in love with. Mine is much daintier than most posted on here, it’s .47 oval lab diamond on a 1.5 mm rose gold band, but it’s perfect for me! I think I’d be scared to be responsiable for something anything bigger tbh lol, my ring was just around $1000. I love the simplicity of it!

It’s been too long since I’ve spammed a thread with my ring, so why not? ๐Ÿ˜‚ (and I loooooove looking at other rings too, so this one has been so fun to go through!)

I have a 6.5mm colorless moissy set in rose gold. I am obsessed with beauty and the beast (and have been my whole life) so this rose-shaped ring was absolutely perfect for me and I’m so glad my fiancé and I found it! I have honestly never seen another setting quite like it, and when paired with my wedding band (two months til I get to wear it! ๐Ÿ˜) it’s just so beautiful and unique and romantic looking and I am beyond obsessed ๐Ÿ˜‚

Okay, enough gushing… time for pics! (Both with and without my wedding band. Wish i had a better pic with the band, but I only have pics from in my kitchen when I tried it on for the first time!)

Elongated cushion with halo. 0.7 carat center stone (I color, VS1, excellent refraction), 0.9 carats in the setting (26 rounds diamonds, G color, VS2), 1.6 total weight. 18k white gold. Size 3.5 finger. Not a surprise, he picked it out when I was with him.

Oh I love this thread. You all have such beautiful rings, and it’s been fun to read about them.

Mine is a bit of a story – the center diamond is from FH’s family; it’s from a ring that was found in a teacup in his great aunt’s home. I love my mystery “teacup diamond.” It’s 1.25, H, VVs

the rubies are .50 each, the surprise side diamonds make the total carat weight 2.40  (there are seven in each side.) And it’s rose gold.

we designed the ring together with a jeweler who has worked with family / close friends of his for years. It took a while – I got the drawings to a place I was happy with and then left the process, so I would be surprised.

I think the thing that took the longest with this ring was finding matching pear rubies – and he did such a good job, they are almost perfectly matched.

The miligrain and engraving was hand done by a 90 year old Russian artist … so every side of this ring is a teeny bit different.

I was surprised – very! – by the beauty of this ring, and by the proposal! He had a “decoy” day set up that I was sure was going to be the day he proposed, and the one day I was sure he wouldn’t (because I thought it was a friend’s going away party) is the day he proposed. It was all even more lovely than I could have imagined.

(Here’s a photo of my love holding the ring. Forgive his cuticles, he’s all man and has been working w his hands lately ๐Ÿ˜‚)

I’m still in the brand new “so shiny and sparkly” phase. I adore my ring. I actually bought and paid for the whole thing myself. This is, for both of us, our second marriage and I’m currently the breadwinner. Anyways, I got my diamond from Brilliant Earth, it is a lab created round brilliant diamond, 1.11 carat, I color, VVS1, ‘super ideal cut’. The setting is a Verragio renaissance 941 customized with single prongs rather than double, from a local jeweler. All told, it appraised above 7k, but I paid a bit less than that (I traded in heirlooms towards the value). I love the ring  and I feel it is worthy of the man I wear it for ๐Ÿ™‚

bakerbee09 :  Question about the GIA certification if you don’t mind me asking! Brilliant Earth lab diamonds are IGI, GCAL, maybe another lab certified/GIA doesn’t (from my understanding) certify lab diamonds- did y’all have it sent to their lab to get that done?
