GIA does now, mine is GIA as well. But I think this change is recent so that’s probably the reason some people think they don’t. catqueen92 :

Mine is a 1.06ct g color vvs2 princess cut in a .50ct custom setting. Hubby proposed with a solitaire and we went together to design this setting. Diamond was $5,600 and setting was $2,900.

My man designed it with the jeweler. He asked me certain questions. I didnt want yellow gold, and I didnt want a plain band. The stone is a little less than 3 carats, F color, cant remember the other fancy stats 😂 Size 7 finger. One of the two side stones came from his grandmothers ring. Its so special because my gorgeous future husband was a total bachelor for the last 25 years! I feel like I won the lottery with him ❤

I actually had a diamond cluster in halo, switched the center to moissanite but didn’t like it so we went with a whole new ring. It’s a long story but I have my dream ring now which is the oval! Center is .79 total is 1.02 I believe? Lab grown diamonds by ALTR. Rose gold in halo, size 5.75

Here are all three rings lol the original  bought from an antique store and I do still have it. We plan to keep it in our family.

erinebee1 :  love yours, our stones are pretty much twins, mine is VVS2, G and 1.06ct! I dont suppose you know your stone’s measurements? I just wonder if measures/faces up small. I know princesses face up smaller, maybe I’m experiencing shrinkage

msbibliotecaria :  I love your princess. I wish I had gotten a thicker band like yours. I have 5.5 size fingers and your 1ct looks much bigger than mine.

Mine is a 0.62 G colour, eye clean SI1 radiant cut. We got the stone from Blue Nile and had the halo setting custom made. Total cost $2,300. I feel I got a good deal and I can’t get over how big it looks on my size 5 finger. I love it so much!

VioletV :  Tank you, i don’t know my measurements but I experienced shrinkage too! I bought a 2ct oval moissanite that I wear now to make me feel better and I love it.  It’s a great way to get a large stone for a great price and no one around me can tell it’s not a diamond….. my little secret lol

VioletV :  I just saw your ring and it’s beautiful! Mine was in the same setting originally so we were ring twins! Your ring makes me miss mine as a solitaire! Princess cut perfection!!!

erinebee1 :  I just love princesses, I know they get a lot of hate. When we started looking at engagement rings it was my hubby that said they were his favourite, I hadn’t even thought about what I wanted yet but tried one on and that was it fell in love

kenziewol :  I love dainty rings the most and this one is just gorgeous! Can I please ask your ring size to get an idea of finger coverage?

It’s my 28th wedding anniversary today, and I’ve had a few rings over the years. The first was a diamond flower halo.

Then years later I got a white saphire halo with pavé.

Then realized the pavé was too delicate with my very physical job, and was curious about moissanite, so that was my next ring.

Annnnndd then I decided I needed something in white gold, so….

I’ve kept the same husband, but clearly I’m not a one wedding set woman.
