I love my ring! I actually designed it. My husband wanted to use his local jeweler so we did but I had found an inspiration pic on Etsy. I’m really glad we went with the local jeweler because it was cheaper and he made some changes to fit my lifestyle (I’m really hard on rings!). It took a while to get in the right color of sapphire (I had a vision!) but once we did there were 2 sapphires and 2 settings we both liked. When we held the sapphire over the white gold setting it was pretty and we liked it but when we held it over the rose gold we all (me, my husband and the jeweler even!) gasped. It was clear that was the combo. So then my husband picked the stone that looked best in it. And both him and the jeweler agreed that the bigger one just looked so much better!! The. For the wedding band, I really liked a contour band, so after we decided that, my mom gave me my grandmother’s diamond from her ring. So I had it added to the point of the contour band! My wedding band is thicker than I would have thought I wanted but I just love the way it looks with the super dainty ring!

Mine is a five stone old mine cut diamond ring! It is, I believe, from the early 1900s and came from Paris. I am so in love with it!

Originally I had an 1 ct eq. OEC moissanite in my ring, and upgraded to a diamond for our 5th anniversary. It’s an OEC from the 1890s, 1.15ct, K color, SI1 clarity, VG cut. I feel like we got a good deal on the diamond (purchased from Ivy&Rose). The setting was custom made my Schubach’s. The ring appraised for over double than what we paid for the diamond+ setting, not that I would ever sell it!

I’m obsessed with old cut diamonds and moissanites. They throw the most beautiful pastel rainbows <3

I only got my ring a couple weeks ago and I love it. It’s a pear solitaire. The diamond is a 1 carat, E color, VS (I can’t remember if it’s VS1 or VS2), excellent cut. I don’t know what my fiance paid, but somewhere between 3k-5k. I have thin fingers (size 4 1/2) so I think it looks bigger. I think a lot of people forget that it will look different on different people. It’s not the best picture because the diamond isn’t actually tilted and there is no dark spot in it, it just looks like it in the picture.

It’s been a little bit since I’ve posted but I cannot resist today since our 3 year anniversary is a week away!

This is my 4th ring 😳 my hubby upgraded my original engagement ring, the one I got married with and then I promptly lost it!  Unfortunately we had it insured for the cost and not the replacement value so we had to choose a stone that I wasn’t thrilled about.  Last year, my husband had me choose another stone with his bonus and here we are today.  This ring is insured for the replacement value and no longer gets put into my pockets!

Let’s see, specs are 2.03 carat, F, VS2, ideal, ex/ex and 8.14mm and my wedding band is 1 carat 🙂 We purchase it through Ritani and utilized their upgrade program which is truly fabulous!  This is the third stone we’ve purchased through them and I can 1000% recommend them to anyone!

I have two wedding bands- because I loved how this looked. Of course now, ironically, I rarely wear both together. Whenever I do though, like today I’m reminded of why this is what I chose. 😍

Adamsfamily6991 :  my ring is a .5 ct princess cut center diamond (not sure what specs are but my husband tells me they’re great) set in white gold. It’s a unique setting designed by a really well known jeweler in our city. It’s kind of a cross between a bezel and a tension setting 🙂

Mine is a 0.5 center and 7/8 total! It was on sale and about $3,300 before taxes/repair plan! I picked it out with my husband and it’s from Kay’s!

Mines a 1.17 ct. natural peach sapphire from Madagascar; excellent cut, and IF clarity on a size 5. FH asked me what I wanted and he went on a mission to put together my dream ring.

I’ll play! Original wedding band (2013 wedding) in 14k rose gold. It’s a 3 mm comfort shape with an engraved message on the inside and my Destination Wedding has the same one. Engagement Ring was five year upgrade / dream ring. It’s a 1.51 antique cushion from Jewels by Grace. She made the setting to match my wedding band. Highly recommend her!! Adamsfamily6991 :
