to stuff the neck and stuff INSIDE the whole chicken? most of my chicken is defrosted except for all that stuff inside, and now i have to watch water run over my dinner because the stupid neck is stuck!
tell me who that person is so i can poke them!

Eww that just sounds gross.

Ugh I HATE that. A couple of years ago I just about flipped out because our turkey was still frozen (was supposed to be fresh), and it took me forever and a day to get the frozen stuff out.
We bought a *real* fresh bird this year and they kept all of that separate. *phew*

HAHA! This cracked me up, I can’t tell you how many times I have wondered the exact same thing! If my chicken has giblets (sometimes they don’t) I will cook them up for my dog or toss them. They never get made into anything edible for humans.

You can simmer the giblets in water and use the broth to make your gravy. It adds delicious flavour.
Did you know that if you put a crust of bread next to the skin in the neck area, then place the suffing inside of that, you don’t get dry crusty stuffing. It is all lovely and moist and delicious.
