Yesterday was the first time I went dress shopping and I found something that I really love. However I still have doubts on pulling the trigger: 1) It was only my first time dress shopping, and it was actually the first dress I tried on. A part of me is scared I haven’t tried on enough dresses. 2) It’s at the very very top of my budget. 3) I’ts not what I ever thought I would like – the floral aspect and the cups of the bodice are two things I would have never picked, but somehow I feel like it works for me here.
Two important things to note before you judge- the sleeves will both have the flower applique, and the dress will be lined so my bottom half will not be sheer as in the photo now (that awkward bulge around the middle is the corset I was wearing).
If I make my decision now, I get a 10% discount off the dress. Help me and tell me is this my dress?!
Thank you all!

You have a great figure and will likely look stunning in whatever you choose. Personally, it’s a lot going on. I love lace but something about that dress just doesn’t work for me.
However, I’m not wearing it, YOU are. So if it makes your heart sing, go for it!

I would keep looking.
That said, the style overall is great on you. And the back of the dress is stunning. The bodice looks incomplete and like you’re wearing lingerie though, imo. But I’m really not a fan of styles where I can see the boning and the push-up bralet style contributes to it looking more like lingerie and less like a purposeful neckline/tailored formal dress.
That said, if that’s your style then it does look amazing on you – I would just seek out that shape dress in a slightly different bodice style, personally.

This is a beautiful dress and your figure is stunning so you can totally pull it off. I think it depends on the look you’re going for. For me, the top is a little too corset/boustier/lingerie style for me, that isn’t my personal taste, but the bottom half of it is jaw dropping. If you want the more forward Sexy look, then this is a perfect option for you. Not judging if that’s what you want, some brides rock it!

I’d keep looking. I’m not a fan of the bodice – to echo a pp, it looks like you’re wearing shapewear as outerwear.

It looks great on you but the style if the bust n straps are not my favorite.

I also think you can do better. The visible boning kills it for me, and the applique at your cleavage is awkward.

Same. The bottom looks amazing but the top looks like lingerie. I’d keep looking.

I am not a fan of the bodice. But all that matters is that you love it.

It’s a no for me bee. Sorry I am not a fan of it. I think you need to keep looking. I don’t like the bodice at all.

I love it from the back but then the front is kind of disappointing. I would keep looking.

Love the back but the front doesn’t do your body justice.

I like the bottom of the dress, not super crazy on the top. The square neck and the lingere style is not really working I don’t think. But I for sure think you should do something that has a similar bottom which looks amaaazing!

indecisivebee09 : the bottom half is everything. The top half looks like it should be worn under a dress. I vote to keep looking.

I agree with everyone else. The top looks like lingerie. People may wonder if you forgot to get completely dressed.
