Its hard to say. I tried bikram, and although I felt like passing out half way through, i stuck it out, and felt wonderful at the end. It is very intense though. You feeling nauseous, feeling like you want to throw up, oass out, heart racing etc, is all your body’s way of telling you that youre doing something unsual and strange to it. Sometimes it takes the body a while to get used to a new exercise routine.

My suggestion would be to leave bikram for now, and just try Hot yoga, or Hot pilates. It is the same principle, 60-90 min of work out in a hot room, but its not ThAT hot. Where bikram would be +40, hot yoga would be +36. Tust me, those 4 degrees are sooo significant! Once your body feels comfortable with Hot yoga, you can gradually take some bikram classes and intensify your workout!

are you drinking enough water? you sweat out alot during bikram so you should make sure you are well hydrated before you go. ie. if you have bikram at 5pm, by then you should be at like glass #7 of water.

I did it about 10 times. The first time I wanted to die. Each time got better and I always walked out feeling super great after having done it. But I began totally dreading going to it (the way you dread pulling off wax on your legs but are happy with the results?). So I stopped going. However, I have been missing it and am currently looking for a place in my new city to do it. For me, though, it’ll always only be a supplimentary type of exercise not my main form.
