Bees, I need the power of positive thinking… lots of it!
My wedding’s in 10 days in Arizona. ARIZONA for pete sake! I’ve just checked the 10-day forecast on weather.com… which takes me to the day before. 60% chance of rain. SIXTY. Oh. my. gosh. And usually storms in Arizona last a couple days at least, so I’m already worried about looking tomorrow when it has my wedding date up.
My entire reception is outdoors. Open dance floor, open tent, you name it, open, open, open.
I need to hear stories about how silly the weather predictions are, examples of when weather turned a 180, how your wedding still was the best day of your life despite gale force wind and rain…
And most of all I need prayers and the power of positive thinking. Start sending dry weather my way!

Oh my gosh. I know you must be terrified!!! Keep in mind that weather.com is wrong about 80% of the time. Meteorology is incredibly inaccurate, especially 10 days out. Don’t worry! There’s a chance that whatever rain they’re looking at will move in a totally different direction, or disappear, or happen a day early or late.

My thoughts will be with you! We planned ours in the middle of August in Florida which equals = HURRICANE SEASON! We are praying against the elements too!!!

@amandopolis: you’re so right about the fickleness of weather prediction. Now the day before is showing beautiful, clear skies… just hope that doesn’t mean that storm moved over to the next day.
Eh, whatcha gonna do?

It won’t rain! It won’t rain! It won’t rain! It won’t rain! It won’t rain!
My wedding was in Cancun during August, which also happens to be hurricane season!! Of course the weather was perfect!! On top of no hurricanes, it was hot & humid everyday except for my wedding day where it was a bit cooler 🙂 Score!
