I really love this thread.
I forgot to mention I recently tried to find a new version of my blanket as mine is basically on its last thread. AND I found it on Etsy from a vintage shop but it was already sold. 🙁

I know it is a little sad but I have gone very few nights sleeping without my baby blanket. I have slept with it everynight for my entire life and it’s just a comfort thing now. Some people need a fan, I need my blanket wrapped around my head. I don’t share the information with people but I don’t hide it either, I don’t care what people think, Fiance doesn’t care and that is all that really matters 🙂

Yes. Blanket is in the blanket closet (someday I hope to have s seamstress repair it). My stuffed animal is in a glass case I display other sentimental items in.

I sure do. Its a bear named Baby. My childhood dog chewed his nose halfway off and most of his fur is rubbed down to the layer above the stuffing. My mom has sewn his head back on dozens of times and now there really isn’t much to sew back together. 🙁 He’s in my hope chest where no one can chew his nose any more.

I still have mine and keep it around frequently, my mom passed away when I was very young causing some really sever separation anxiety, I am so lucky my SO doesn’t mind, he understand and is always patient knowing how much it helps! It is a dolphin by the way, the one you get at the carnival!

I still hug my baby pillow to sleep, it’s just comforting. Sometimes I find Darling Husband hugging it in bed, we play fight over it too. Of course I win.
Most of my stuffed animals are in boxes in closets, I’m planning to pass those onto my children.
