@yllom10: I don’t think Ms. Jackson is appropriate. Have you read the lyrics?

“I’m sorry Ms. Jackson [OOOH]
I am for real
Never meant to make your daughter cry
I apologize a trillion times

We’re all coming into “Shake me Like a Monkey” by Dave Matthews Band.

My fiance is a HUGE DMB fan, and since our first dance song is technically from MY favorite band, we compromised!

I’ve thought about using The Final Countdown.  I think it would be amusing in an ironic way – plus, Fiance and I love Arrested Development, and once you watch that show, you forever identify The Final Countdown with Gob, so it would be even funnier and more personal for us.  But sometimes I just think it would come off as super lame.  People would be like, “No, guys…just, no.”  😛

@GreenGables: hahaha! You are SO right about always associating The Final Countdown with Arrested Development/Gob. I can’t think of anything else when I hear that song. Love it 🙂

“Power of Love” Think “Back to the Future” theme. My husband is a total BTTF nerd 🙂
