I had it done and it was well worth it. It was 100 degrees in Vegas the day of my wedding and I felt like I was melting all day. My photos look great though and not a smudge out of place!

My bridesmaids also did it and they ended up buying tons of our wedding pics because they loved how their makeup looked!!!  🙂 only one girl opted out and you could sorta tell in the pics because she was a bit….I dont know how to explain it but shinier? She has great skin so she still looked fantastic, but I felt like airbrush was way worth it for me. I’d probably do it again for family photos or a big event.

I didn’t break out and I had my period, so that was a miracle because I thought I would just from hormones and stress. It wasnt cakey or heavy at all–my face still moved and i didnt feel it, and i didnt feel greasy either which sometimes i do with regular foundation. It washed off easily and then I just followed my regular face routine.

I did a trial with airbrush but it didn’t sit well on my skin. It sunk into my pores and made them overly visible and it felt oddly rubbery. I used Chanel Mat Lumiere on the day with Laura Mercier translucent powder.

i chose other.  i’m a MUA and i was assistant MUA on a film a few years ago.  the lead MUA on the film used an IWATA airbrush system and Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics airbrush foundation.  i fell in love with it.  it was so easy to use and the results are flawless foundation.

i’d worked as a MUA for years previous to this and worked with many many brides so after using this i knew i had to invest in my own.  it paid for itself in one job.  i even use it on myself and my friends for special occasions. in my avatar pic i’m airbrushed and my Fiance is airbrushed as well, only he’s a zombie.

the OCC foundation i use is water based but there are silicone and oil based ones used by MUA’s as well.  that might have to do with some PP’s bad experience.  all clients i’ve used it on have raved about it not only looking amazing but also feeling like they have nothing on their skin.

if you have any other questions, feel free to ask. 😀

I had a trial with silicone based airbrush make up and I absolutely loved it. I went to a party with it, danced all night, took a shower without washing my face and slept with the make up on. I woke up looking as good as I did the night before. Definitely using it for wedding day!

I absolutely love it.  I went to school and took an Airbrush class about 5 years now for it.  I am a MUA and Hairstylist, and I do many weddings.  A mother of the bride had rosaca on her chest, and after I airbrushed it, it was not visible at all.

I’ve never had a problem with the airbrush, skin wise.  I use Kett Cosmetics, sometimes OCC.  Definitely stick to a water based if you’re nervous though. I airbrush my face for special occasions, and LOVE it.  I did it for my college graduation 3 years ago, and got many compliments.

Airbrushing was included in my makeup package and I loved it. It lasted all day and looked great in pictures.

i have quite oily skin and regularly break out so was stressing about a make up that would cover up any nasties! i went for a trial on a day that i had quite a few nasty spots and the airbrushing covered them completely – which no other make up achieved. i’ll be getting another tral done but i was so impressed i’m pretty certain it’ll be the make up i go for

@janetsnakehole:  I have an airbrush system but have not found a makeup that I like yet.  Is OCC your favorite?  What others have you used?  I just feel like the airbrush that I’ve tried hasn’t looked any different than the MUFE HD foundation applied with a brush.

I used it for my wedding Saturday and was happy with it.  It was super hot and it still stayed on with no problems! Didn’t look too caked on either.
