I’m interested in the feedback as well – we’ll be doing something along these lines…

I would actually like to learn more about this as my Fiance and I will be moving away from the midwest where we grew up (probably to the west coast) soon after our wedding…we’d LOVE house gifts but we don’t want to haul more than we have to! I don’t want to be rude and ask for monetary gifts so I need to find a better way to do so…I’d rather buy things once we get settled…

We used Honeyfund.com and had a ton of luck with it. It was great. We got around $7500 worth of gifts through it!

Honeyfund.com seems quite popular. I think it takes less of a percentage than other sites. My best friend used notanothertoaster.com and was happy but I’m personally not a fan of the name of the site.

I believe ourwishingwell is Australian so you must be too? It’s really really common to have a wishingwell in Australia so ignore anyone who talks bad about it. It’s a cultural thing a few people don’t understand so they badmouth it.
