My crazy wedding dream….

Ned Stark from Game of Thrones was making salad at the wedding but didnt make enough for everyone-and for some reason we didnt schedule a time to take family photos- or photos of matt and I together. the sun was going down and the photographer told us that maybe it just wouldnt happen- or we could put on the same outfits tomorrow and do it the next day. it was crazy!!!!!!!!

My special dreamed consisted of seeing my bouqets at the weddings and while they were beautiful and exactly what we talked about they were TINY. Like 3 inches tall. And I kept saying “I can’t carry this! I mean its pretty, but they need to be bigger!” Then I wanted to look at the groomens bouts (which were orchids btw) and they were HUGE, like the bouts were as big as their heads and the guys were playing with them. I kept on saying “well these are pretty too but they’re too big!”

It was insane. I just giggled when I woke up and told everyone I knew, which was funny because day of the wedding, my mom brought me the flowers and I immediately had to know if they were all the right size…and they were!

Ugh, I’m starting to have them like every night. Last night I dreamed I was at the reception, and only like 20 people showed up (we’re expecting around 200). As each person came in, they brought me a gift and I had to open it right then. I don’t know where my Fiance was but I kept telling everyone I really wanted to wait for him to be there to open them.

Then I realized that the reception was starting and my DJ had never shown up. She’s a friend of my mom’s and is doing it for free so I started yelling at my mom that it was ruined. Then I realized my photographer and videographer hadn’t shown up either and I hadn’t gotten one picture of the ceremony!

I’ve had a reoccurring one since I was about 10 years old. I don’t know if I’ve posted it before, but here goes…

The dream starts with me in a simple white shift dress, in a fancy car. I am quite young to be a bride… perhaps 20 years old. I am going to be married, but can’t remember who to, or even what he looks like. I don’t want to marry him, but I also think I can’t back out now… I feel sick with terror. I keep going over my options in my head but I kep coming back to the idea that I can’t back out now when so many people are depending on me to show up. But I don’t want to marry someone I don’t know either!

The car is delayed on the way to the church, and I have to stop and help various people along the way. I am greatful that this delays the wedding, although I also know I can’t keep it up forever. Eventually, I can no longer stall, and we arrive at the church.

I enter the church and suddenly realise that this is no longer a place of worship, but an old church converted into a meeting hall for special occasions. I experience terror for a second at the thought of finally getting married, but as soon as I push open the door into the hall packed with family and friends then I realise that I am not getting married at all. Instead, I am here to accept a title (Lady X) and have to give an acceptance speech. I feel so relieved, and as I walk to the front then the dream ends.

How’s that for a strange one?

My wedding is two years away but I’ve already had two dreams.

Dream 1: It’s the day of the wedding, and we haven’t booked the venue, and we don’t have a cake. My parents and I are driving to this restaurant in my home city and ask them if we can have the reception there. We also have to stop by Marks & Spencer to buy a wedding cake at the last minute. The only thing I have is the dress, and I am in full panic mode haha 😀

Dream 2: My fiance tells me that he will not be going to our wedding reception, he will just be there for the ceremony, because he has to go back to work!! I feel mortified because I have to explain to the guests why there is no groom at the wedding reception:-D

I dreamed that my Fiance was arrested at the ceremony and sentenced to death……I was like WTF! But I already had my share of the reasonable stress dreams about me showing up with no shoes on etc last month.

My crazy dream about the wedding was that the Ori (these diety-like super ancient aliens from Stargate SG-1) invaded my wedding and that Buffy, Angel and Spike had to rescue us. Yeah… not long after we got netflix and could watch all these shows. My mom dreamed that I showed up dressed like The White Witch from Chronicles of Narnia… Oh and my Maid/Matron of Honor had some crazy dreams too. I honestly think everyone else was more worried about my wedding than I was.

I had a dream where I showed up at the church, and I got all ready to walk down the aisle. Oddly enough, everyone in the church was wearing a Hawaiian shirt. My dad walked me to the front of the church, and I got in an argument with my Fiance because he wasn’t wearing his Tux…then I woke up. lol

I had a dream that I was getting dressed for our wedding and I realized that I had never sent out our invitations…..lol

Of course in real life I would have realized this when I didn’t recieve an RSVP’s but the dream seemed so real, I woke up feeling so stressed.

@sarahjane822:  Totally had that dream about not sending invitations out!  That was a TERRIBLE feeling!

My most recent wedding nightmare was that my hair stylist didn’t show up, so my makeup artist had to do my hair.  And she made me look like Princess Leia (sp? totally not a Star Wars fan, either!).  They played the wrong music for the processional, and I knew NO ONE in attendance.

I also have a recurring dream that has happened for years.  I forget my bouquet and don’t remember until I’m halfway down the aisle.  I’ve had this one at least 20 times!
