To answe my own question, I found through a Google search on diy wedding invitation boxes. I found Mrs Perfume’s blog with detailed instructions, source links, personal photos documenting the process. I favorite it in my bookmarks and kept coming back to it, then ventured to other blogs, and eventually made my way to the boards. Have been hooked ever since. 🙂

I found it during a search… and years ago when I planned my first wedding I was on a Canadian board very similar so I know the Bee would be handy! I just didn’t realize I’d start posting like I had the first time around…

Susana888: wat a fun thought!
It was summer 2012 and I was helping my friend look for flower ideas for her wedding and came across a paper flower tutorial. I was hooked and stayed just reading the blogs and then active on the boards once I got engaged this past February! 😀

I found it when I was looking for affordable engagement rings for Fiance and myself, stumbled across moissanite on here and fell in love with the site and the stone!

When we first got engaged, I immediately started looking for inspiration, and invites. I ran across a post and I saved it in my history – lurked around from time to tme.
I didn’t actually join us until I needed some information on some etiquette things.. it’s rare people in our family get married, and have an actual “wedding”, so I really had nobody to ask in my family. Most of our family members just did the courthouse thing.
It’s been over 10 years since someone in our family had a wedding!

Susana888: My future sister-in-law reccommended it to me! She said she was on here all the time when she got married and told me I had to check it out, and I am so glad I did!!

I was actually a member on another wedding planning website, but I got frustrated with how bitchy it seemed. I did learn a great deal about etiquette though, so I just took that knowledge but decided to move on to a more positive and uplifting community!

Susana888: I don’t even remember what I was googling, but I wasn’t engaged yet. I was googling a wedding question as a bridesmaid. That was a long time ago lol

peaceoutshannon: Ring threads are very popular so I’m sure this will be a very common reply. 🙂 I love antique rings too (my dad gifted his ring to me, I treasure it dearly).
Mrs_Purple: It’s funny you say Fiance, one of the first things I had to search here was “What does FI/DH/FMIL mean???” 🙂
