- Wedding: July 2009
So, my Fiance and I are having some guilt about how much our wedding party (specifically, the groomsmen, who are all from OOT) will spend on airfare, attire, and hotels to come to (and be in) our wedding. We were trying to think of ways to relieve some of the financial burden, but unfortunately we can’t afford to pay for all of their rooms, tuxes, etc. (There are 8 of them!) Then we were discussing gifts and realized we could at least tell them we do not expect them to get us gifts on top of all of that. Has anyone done this? Or have any other ideas of how to relieve some of the financial pressure?
If we do tell them not to get us gifts, when should we send out an email saying that? A month before the wedding? Now?
