I don’t chart but I do temp, check CM, and check my cervical position. I’m on about CD16. I had a few days of EWCM, and BD’d last night. This morning my temp jumped to 97.7 (it usually is around 96.9-97.2), so I thougth we timed things perfectly and yesterday was my peak day. But today I have EWCM again, when I expected a dry day.
Thoughts? I’m new at this, but did not expect EWCM AFTER my temp spike!

That would be a bit unusual for me. Maybe see what your temp is tomorrow – the high temp may have been a fluke? Or your body is just taking a while to catch up!

High temp could have been fluke – need to see sustained high temps to confirm O. BD as long as you’re seeing fertile cm

Thanks all for the help!! Update: High temp again today- 97.8. And already EWCM/watery today again!
M: 96.9 + watery/EWCM (BD)
T: 97.0 + watery/EWCM
W: 97.1 + watery/EWCM (BD)
Th: 97.7 + watery/gummy/sticky/some EWCM
F: 97.8 + watery/some EWCM
I had a work function Thursday (last night) so we didn’t get to BD. Hoping the M or W BD did the trick, but will BD today!
I’m only two cycles off BCP (both normal in length, etc. Traveling during fertile week last cycle so could not temp and did not confirm O) so that could be part of it. I’m hoping the temp shift is genuine and actually indicates O, and that the EWCM after the temp shift is just funky hormones…? Is that even possible?

Dry today, but temp back down to 97.3 🙁 So only two days of back-to-back high temps. More likely a wonky post-pill cycle than anything else I’m guessing.
On top of all that, have had a stomach ache/nausea starting last night and most of the day today. Maybe that’s what’s impacting the temp jump?
