So I’ve been charting for about 3 or 4 months already. And so far I’ve been pretty regular and Fertility Friend’s predicted ovulation and period days are quite accurate. But I’m about a week past expected ovulation and my temperature has been pretty low! Which is extra puzzling, cos I’ve been feeling warmer than usual when I wake up!! Do you think I didn’t ovulate?? Why would I suddenly not ovulate? Or is my cycle just suddenly longer?? I got excited and thought maybe I was pregnant but Fertility Friend FAQ said that pregnancy is usually marked by temperatures being higher.

They do say an annovulatory cycle every now and again can be common but maybe it’s just a late cycle for you. Have you been charting at the same time? Anything in your routine changed? I trust my temps more than any other method as they seem to be the most accurate and truly telling if i’ve ovulated.

Maybe you’re just going to ovulate later this month. It happens. So do anovulatory cycles occasionally. Can you post your chart?

Thanks for the replies, I looked up annovulatory cycle and that could be it.
Here is my chart for August (expected ovulation date was actually 27 Aug)

in comparison, here’s my july chart

Yep annovatory for sure. Anything new this month? Sometimes there’s just a fluke cycle.

i’m dealing with the same thing. i’ve been charting for 3 years. my cycles have always been very regular (27-30 days), but this cycle has been super long. i was a little concerned, but i finally ovulated around day 45 and my period will probably come in the next week or two. i was on antibiotics off and on in july, so i’m not sure if that threw off my cycles or what. hopefully, next month i’ll be back to normal.

Hmm not really. Weather is slightly warmer but that’s about it. Yup, probably annovulatory. Thanks guys for helping me out!
