    Im assuming that means they get three extra days to live there when you technically own it?

    I wouldn’t charge them for it.  We lived in our house for almost 30 days before the sellers were able to close.  They didn’t charge us anything, we just had to transfer the electricity to our names and get renters insurance.

    If I were you I would be careful though that they don’t cause any damage after closing but before turning over the keys to you.  You can put stuff like that in writing though.
