Help 🙂 I am in dire need of some new tennis shoes. Honestly, I have had the same ones since high school, and I am 24 now, LOL. Darling Husband and I have been working out frequently together, and it is time for a new pair.
Any suggestions? I mostly run – but I do a good mix of other stuff too. I don’t really wear tennis shoes anywhere other than the gym either.
I don’t mind splurging for a good pair!

First of all, the term “tennis shoes” cracks me up. I’m an east coast girl and we call them sneakers!
Second of all, if you want shoes for running, you should go to a running specialty store and have your feet and gait analyzed. Everyone has a different way of running and a true professional will watch you run before trying to sell you anything. I’m not familiar with your area as these types of shops are often boutique-type stores rather than chains (like Foot Locker, etc). I would ask around and try out a shop or two. You don’t have to buy something just because the salesperson recommends it! If you don’t feel like they know what they’re talking about or they don’t spend time looking at your feet with and without shoes on, watch you walk, and watch you run, they’re not giving you a proper recommendation.
Hope this helps!!

I agree with kirabee, you need to go to a running store to get your foot analyzed properly. Even if you don’t buy your shoe from them they will likely give you a handout with your results so you can go online and buy cheaper.
I go to Road Runner. My analysis consisted of a full foot measurement, a balance analysis to see how I balance my weight when standing, and videotaping my lower legs/feet as I ran on a treadmill.
No one brand/style works for everyone!

Thanks for the suggestions! I had no idea that this was even an option! So much to learn, haha!
