    My friends had a tent a few years ago, and they diguised their tent poles with tree branches. They literally went out into the woods and cut down birch tree branches and attached them to the poles. It looked really nice and added to their “outdoor” theme. $0 spent!

    @JenGirl:  Sometimes I think the best way to disguise something is to leave it alone. The poles are going to be much more noticeable covered in bright colored contac paper.

    We are having an outdoor wedding same day as you. The only poles I am covering are the center poles. I bought 6″ embroidery hoops and hung ribbon from them in our wedding colors. They will then hang down to cover the poles.

    I’m leaving the outside poles alone.
