Bakerella did a tented reception, but I’m guessing she had a rain plan because she was married outside. Perhaps ask her?

Have you checked the prices of those huge tents?

It’s crazy! I’m thinking of buying two 10×30 tents and putting them side by side for an emergency rain situation. They are about $150 each with shipping and I’m sure they’re pretty shitty, but I only plan to use them this one time and if they get screwed up, I’ll just trash them. If not, I’ll have some tents for the next family reunion or I’ll sell them to another bride needing a cheap option.

I’m just really hoping it doesn’t rain.

we are in the exact same situation but only have a tent big enough for the tables only. We do luckily have a barn we can do the food serving/dancing/cocktails in if need be- but we sure will have a fun time having the ceremony outside in the rain. I just figured we can run to Christmas Tree shops and purchase a bunch of umbrellas for guests. Praying for NO rain! Goodluck!
