I think that tent pole covers, the long gathered drapes on the tent’s poles are necessary to cover up the eyesores.  I only wish I had had the money to do full tent liners on the ceiling of the tent.  To dress up the tent poles, instead of the tradition fabric ties I had my florist make wreaths out of boxwood garland – a very inexpensive way to add a unique touch!

I’m having ivory paper lanterns as well with lighting…I can’t remember the name of the lighting. I want to say bistro lighting maybe? They’re tiny little round lights all around the tent. I’m also having ivory drapes where the poles are in the tent.

When you walk in to the front of the tent, also, I’m having a lounge area with 2 sofas, & a coffee table with candles on them. I’m so anxious to see how it turns out!!!!

We looked into lighted paper laterns under our tent but it was just so expensive. It was almost $1200 for 9 laterns! Did anyone else run into this issue.

@budgiebride: we are doing paper lanterns too. I got 22 of the giant ones at Ikea for 10 bucks each. Just an idea but you might want to check out a place like that.
