It’s actually based on Google, so if you have searched for exterminators or mice on Google, cookies are saved on your computer to try and find ads that it think relates to you.

Try clearing your cookies, that might help get rid of the Terminix!

It actually freaks me out that ads know what I’ve been searching online.  Feels like they’re reading my mind!

LOL – I’m sorry…I shouldn’t laugh, but I remember your mice posts, and they cracked me up. It’s like they won’t leave you alone!

Hah! Just make sure one doesn’t jump in your purse and you take it home!

I was actually wondering why all of this fitness and running stuff appeared on the ads on the right. And now it makes total sense that it’s based off of google searches!

@SoontobeMrsA: I’ve been getting Progressive ads.  Definitely not looking those up.

ETA: you’re probably getting termix ads because of all the house talk lately.  I swear the ads know every word you type out in the interwebs.

I dread watching those Orkin commercials on TV where the giant bug shows up for a blind date with the girl or where the giant bug delivers a pizza!

lol the ad on the side of mine is for H&R Block. Which reminds me that my guy needs to get his done asap. I did mine the day I got my w-2s in the mail.
