I recently found out I was pregnant by taking an HPT at 13dpo. I’ve been charting, so I know the date that I conceived, which was 15 days ago. I know that doctor’s date the pregnancy using the first day of the last period. By that standard, my pregnancy started 4 weeks ago and tomorrow will begin the 5th week of pregnancy.
Tomorrow, will I be considered 5 weeks pregnant or 4 weeks pregnant? I will be within the 5th week, but only 4 weeks have been completed. I want to know because I’m curious about what’s going on with my future baby week by week. I’m not sure whether to research “4 weeks pregnant” or “5 weeks pregnant.”

If you know when you conceived you’ll get more accurate info basing it off that – I conceived quite late in my cycle when I got pregnant, so my doctors kept saying I was due in late April and I knew that wasn’t accurate…finally got them to do a dating ultrasound and yep, I’m due May 12th (who would think that the person who was there when the conception happened would know better about the date, right? haha). And the accurate one I figured out before they did, I just plugged the date of conception into some websites that will tel you exactly how far along you are. Here’s a link to a good one for breaking down the weeks/months/trimesters: http://www.baby2see.com/pregnancylength.html

@Wonderstruck: Thank you, that was very helpful. According to the calculator I am 4 weeks 0 days.
