Oh dang, I feel so horrible for you. I’m sorry your bachelorette party did not go as planned. I’m sure your friends thought you were tongue in cheek when you said you didn’t want to go to a strip club. So sorry.

I have almost the same experience as you and hope my ladies respect my wishes because I know I am NOT ready or over it completely

Wow I am so sorry. And I am with you on people need to respect your wishes. My fiance and I both hate strip clubs and he told his guys he didn’t want to go and they all promised him they wouldn’t take him. guess what – they still did. I am proud of my husband for sitting out in the car most of the time but it really bothers me that people don’t respect others wishes. I hope you can overcome this and receive healing soon.

Thank you for being brave enough to post this. Best of luck.

Oh my goodness. These are supposed to be your FRIENDS?! Im guessing they didn’t know your past? Regardless, if these are your friends, they should have respected your wish for no strip clubs. Next time someone tries to force you to do something that you feel strongly against, you should be strong and stand your ground!

That’s horrendous. I’m so sorry to hear about that and it’s unfortunate that it happened. I hope you are able to focus your mind and enjoy your wedding day!

🙁 I’m sorry to hear you had to go through something like that. I’m sure it was really hard to try to keep yourself composed when all of the attention was on you. I hope you’re able to push all of this out of your mind and focus on what is about to be one of the happiest days of your life!

I’m so sorry this happened to you. I would definitely try talking to your friends, if you feel up to it. Try to focus on the new life you’re starting with your wonderful husband. I’ll be sending good vibes your way.

Oh no, that’s terrible. =[ I’m sorry you had to go through that! Did your friends not know your past? Geez.

Im sorry you had to go through the rape experience, though. That’s horrible and no one should ever have to go through something like that.

@injuredbee: oh no, you poor thing!! I can’t believe ANYONE would go against your request especially after knowing your past. I am disgusted in their behavior!!

Sorry that your special night out was spoiled!  I just think that strip clubs are in poor taste… esp when the guest of honor does not want to go to one!
