From the yelp review, it looks like the studio did a cut and run?

I’m sorry you feel you have been taken advantage of. If this topic is distressing you so much, perhaps you should be exploring contact with the BBB or another organization? I think it’s just very unclear as to how exactly they scammed you if they are willing to refund…? Gather your evidence and explore your legal options before starting a flame war, it will save you a potential headache!

Wow, doesn’t look so good from the BBB side.

So wait… are we not allowed to talk about it either? Is it even legal for them to restrict that?

@pandaboo:  Oh I thought you had an email from them that stated they would refund? I know a lot of the time an email promising to pay (say you borrowed money from someone or agreed to a payment plan), if it’s in writing, they are liable to pay up. Hope you get a resolution soon.

If your lawyer has advised you not to talk about it, perhaps it’s just best to keep it offline and let the professionals handle it.

Wow. I remember what you posted…why are they not being helpful? Like how are they telling you that you are wrong?

yeah, I would think after the warning it appears you got from the studio that you would limit your online rants of them. You have never stated exactly how they scammed you or didn’t meet the requirements of their contract…….so unless you are getting a new photog by the wedding……I would be very careful, because at this point, they are still in charge of capturing your day.

@atalante:  It probably has something to do with WB can’t allow unsubstantiated slander (or whatever it’s called) on this site.

you really should contact an attorney if they aren’t going to give you a refund. that’s just not right.
