I was taking a test online and my computer made the test questions/answer boxes not line up. Since I could not click out and use another computer, I was stuck trying to decipher where to put what. It worked out fine, except for one question, where the box was so misaligned that I was not even able to get the cursor to click in the box for me to type!
So I emailed the professor and told him that the one question I left blank because it was not working, but here is the answer I was going to give. He emailed back and said that he will give me credit for that question. It is a 2 point question and is the difference between a letter grade!
I looked just now and he did not fix it…the test was a few weeks ago. I had to email him yesterday for another grade correction (entered a group project grade incorrectly into the computer so it came up that we were all failing..but he fixed it as soon as I emailed). Can I email him and ask if he corrected the test question? I dont want him to think I am trying to mooch points out, but he said he would do it. The final is next week and I want to make sure the first test is fixed before final grades are entered. I am just so afraid of being a pain in the ass student, but this is really important to me.
